Well done Dan for demonstrating that not only do the Level 2 Standards work but are scalable. Really impressed with how his estate is benefiting from an appropriate and purpose-driven information model that is supporting the decision making process. Da iawn!

Avoiding all stereotypes, Dan’s Welshness hasn’t stopped him to bring calm clarity and purposefulness to show that the standards not only make sense but work!

Through my role at Carillion PLC, I fail most COBie I receive. It didn’t just take effort for Dan to deliver perfect COBie, it also took expertise!  Now that Dan’s COBie is error free, I will be pointing our struggling suppliers to BIMblog.house to see one approach to deliver good information.

Dan’s passion, drive, work ethic and enthusiasm for this subject is seconded to none.  It’s really great to the BIM Level 2 process applied to something that we can all relate to; our own homes!

Dan, through his blog, has shown a simple, pragmatic and scalable method of applying the collaborative working and information management principles of BS 1192 and PAS 1192-2.  Few professionals have the confidence to share examples in such an open forum; having seen what Dan can achieve, his confidence hasn’t been misplaced.
